Who this is for

The Extension is for Airbnb hosts who sign up on our website and for Destination Asset's property-management clients.

Information you give us

When you sign up, we collect your name and email address and issue you a private access key. We use these to send you your key and emails about the service. Emails are sent through our email provider, Kit (ConvertKit). You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.

What the Extension accesses

When you are signed in to your Airbnb host account in the same browser, the Extension reads performance information about your own listings using your existing signed-in session. Specifically, it collects:

• Listing identifiers, names, and listed/unlisted status
• Conversion and visibility metrics (e.g. conversion rate, search and listing conversion, first-page impression rate)
• Page views and wishlist counts
• Guest rating statistics: the share of 5-star ratings by category (cleanliness, accuracy, check-in, communication, location, value) and average ratings
• Guest Favorite status, all-time rating, and review count, read from your listing's public Airbnb page
• Airbnb's quality-standards status for each listing
• Weekly, monthly, and forward-looking performance figures for your listings

The Extension only reads this information. It never changes anything on your Airbnb account. It does not collect your Airbnb password, payment information, individual reviews, guest personal data, messages, or booking details, and it does not track your general browsing activity.

How the Extension works

The Extension runs in your browser while it is open. It collects slowly, in small batches, and pauses automatically if Airbnb signals that it should slow down.

Airbnb

Destination Asset is not affiliated with or endorsed by Airbnb. Airbnb's terms restrict automated tools in general, so while we consider the risk low, it is not zero. You can stop collection at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

How the data is used

The data is used solely to provide you and Destination Asset with analytics about your listings' performance, presented in your analytics dashboard. We use it to monitor trends, report on results, and inform optimization of your listings.

We do not use your data for any purpose beyond the analytics service described here. Specifically, we never use or transfer your data to serve personalized advertisements, interest-based advertising, or for any monetization purpose unrelated to this service.

Where the data goes

Collected metrics are transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in Destination Asset's secure database (hosted on Supabase). Each client's data is associated with a private access key issued to that client. Your name, email, and access key are also shared with Kit, our email provider, only to send you emails. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising or any unrelated purpose.

Cookies

The analytics dashboard uses essential cookies only, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Authentication

The Extension is activated with a private access key provided by Destination Asset. It uses your browser's existing Airbnb session to read your performance data; it never stores or transmits your Airbnb login credentials.

Data retention

Performance metrics are retained for as long as you remain a Destination Asset client and for a reasonable period afterward for reporting continuity. You may request deletion of your collected data at any time (see Contact).

Your choices

You can stop all collection at any time by removing your access key from the Extension or uninstalling it. To request access to, or deletion of, your stored data, contact us below.
